Brady's School will decorate class rooms in 9 different countries and cultures for the entire week of peace. Every pupil will spend an hour and half in each country to experience each faith and relgion.The countries will include Japan featuring calligraphy, a tea ceremony and Japanese animation.
Nigeria featuring culture and daily life and art. Greece featuring culture, dance, masks and food tasting. Israel featuring Judaism. France featuring language. Bangladesh featuring Islam. Travellers and Gypsies featuring dancing, craft, values, time line, story telling. Britain featuring morris dancing, pearly kings ect. New Zealand featuring Mauri culture, dance and art. Monday to Friday 0900 hours to 0915 hours there will be a theme peace assembly. Friday 25th 1330 hours to 1500 hours Brady's will hold a peace week festival including food stalls- one per culture and country. 9 desk, run by pupils, showcasing work from the week. Dance performances by each Year Group. Police stand. Job Centre Plus and the Family Information Service to run stalls. Bouncy castles and Fete Stalls. The Chief Executive from the Federation of Synagogues Mr Eli Kienwald will be giving a talk to 3 Primary School children about his faith and religion, and will answer any questions the children may have. Mr Kienwald will be arriving at the Rainham and Wennington Police Office at 0900 hours and will be escorted to the first School, Rainham village School, Upminster Road, South Rainham for 0910 hours.The talk should last approximatley 30 minutes.
