On 20th September 2008 the campaign will be holding its 5th Annual Peace March as part of London Week of Peace. The March plans to walk from Roundwood Park Harlesden to the National Stadium at Wembley. The Not Another Drop partnership has worked in the borough for many years and is a joint campaign between the Community, London Borough of Brent and Metropolitan Police Service to reduce gun and knife crime. This year we have secured the endorsement of the Arsenal and England women's footballer Rachel Yankey MBE and International Singer/songwriter Tasha's World. Choice FM has included the event as part of their Peace on The Streets Campaign. The purpose of the Peace March is to raise awareness in Brent of gun and knife crime and to stand together to say 'enough is enough'. For more information visit: www.notanotherdrop.com | |
