The Havering Park SNT will be visiting schools to raise awareness of bullying and how this progresses to other violence. They will also be talking about `under-reporting' and helping educate local youth about whom they can talk to about their concerns. The team will also be presenting each school with a picture of each member of our team, to be added on the board underneath the teachers. | |

Police will attend the school and deliver the message of London Week of Peace during assembly. We will be running a poetry competion with the theme of Peace, running along-side a lesson plan of "compliments" a simple project whereby all the children write their name on the bottom of a peice of paper and each classmate takes turn in writing something nice about that person, turning their section down and passing it on, until it reaches the owner. | |

At lunchtime it is planned that local VIPs including the Borough Police Commander and LA Chief executive attend the event and promote the work of the HCSP. There will also be a "Face the People" event under the Respect banner with senior figures. It is intended that the event will assist to reduce the fear of crime, which is a LAA target for Havering. | |
