Mega Partnership Days will be taking Place on Thursday & Friday 14th September. The partners are: Ealing Council, Ealing Homes, Park Rangers, London Fire Brigade, Faith Leaders, Local Youth Groups, Immigration to name a few. Within these two days, peace/diversity will be promoted. There will be a Recruitment bus, Careers Advisors, Faith Visits, Crime Prevention Stalls, Community Engagement, Outreach Projects, Partnership Projects, Anti -Social Behaviour Patrols and Patrols around High Crime Areas. Working DAAP to engage hard to reach groups. | |

Event 4 : Children's Event at the Buddhist Vihara |

Local children between the ages of 7-14 years (in company with an adult) are invited to attend the Buddhist Vihara to celebrate Peace.
There will be various events/activities taking place, including the designing of a peace dove to be displayed at local venues, working together - building, drawing competition, balloon art and an insight into meditation. There will also be an opportunity to speak to the Southfield Ward Safer Neighbourhood Team, who will be giving Personal Safety and Crime prevention advice. | |

The Oaktree Community Centre is officially opening on Saturday 15th September. The event starts at 1pm and ends at 6pm. The event is being attended by various partner agencies including South Acton Safer Neighbourhood Team, Ealing Homes and community groups. | |

The Log Cabin is an inclusive adventure playground for children and young people aged 4-15 years who have special needs or disabilities, or who are in need.
Northfield Safer Neighbourhood Team will be attending and giving a talk. They are hoping that a police dog, will also be able to attend. This is a private event for members only. | |

A Polish Community Event will take place in Acton Park. The Polish community is relatively new in our area, and it is quite a big community. Apart from the policing issues, they are found to have issues with housing, employment, law, health services and such. Confirmed attendance so far are: Citizens Advice Bureau, Western Union, Barclays Bank, GMB Trade Unions, DVLA and the East Acton Safer Neighbourhood Team. | |
