The Faith in the Big Society Seminar will be taking place on the 20th of september 2010 at Empress State Building, Lillie Road, West Brompton 1:30pm - 4:30pm.

As part of its contribution towards the London Week of Peace, the Metropolitan Police will be hosting a seminar for an invited audience from various faith communities, to consider the role of faith communities in establishment self-supporting and sustainable communities in line with the Government’s vision.
The seminar provides participants with an opportunity to contribute to a broader national debate as the concept of the Big Socity and the role of individuals and groups within society is developed.
This event is being promoted across all 32 boroughs through multi-faith forums and other
networks. It will be necessary to limit the number attending from each borough owing to the capacity of the venue.
Those attending the seminar may wish to remain for the Peace Debate taking place at the same venue later that day.
Again places for the debate will be limited, offered on a first come first serve basis.
