The LONDON WEEK OF PEACE (LWOP) is an annual week of high profile events, initiatives and action organised principally by communities and individuals but also engaging organisations, businesses and public agencies, to promote greater community cohesion, safety and peace across the capital. It will take place from the 14th - 21st of September 2008.

Under the banner, Reconciliation, Celebration, Collaboration, tens of thousands of Londoners from all walks of life will participate in a range of citywide and local activities, engaging local community and voluntary organisations, businesses, public agencies and individuals. The theme for this years' celebration is D.R.E.A.M.S.

PEACE IS YOUR BUSINESS
GET INVOLVED in the London Week of Peace. There are many ways to take part. You can organise an event or sponsor an event. You may wish to take part in one of the key events or one of the many borough events taking place in London during 14th - 21st September.
